Configuring Outlook 2011 for Mac with Office 365

If you are experiencing difficulties or need assistance configuring your email client for Office 365, please contact the ITS Customer Support Center. To set up your account in Outlook 2011 for Mac, follow these steps:

First, click on 'Add Account' to finish configuring your account. Check the box next to 'Configure Automatically'.

Next, enter your USC email address (e.g., 'your_email_address') in the User name field and your USC password in the Password field.

In the E-mail address field, re-enter your USC email address (e.g., 'your_email_address'). From the Method pull-down menu, choose 'User Name and Password'.

On the Enter your Exchange account information screen, enter the following information:

* Choose 'Exchange' from this pull-down menu.

* If you do not see the Exchange Account option, click on the '+' symbol in the lower left-hand corner to open the pull-down menu. On the Add an Account screen, click on 'Exchange Account'.

To add a new Exchange account in Outlook 2011 for Mac:

1. Launch Outlook and click on 'Tools' >.

2. Go to 'this website'(https://www.usc.edu/its/computing/email/outlook/) and click on the 'Log in to' button. You will need to log into using your USC username and password before accessing these videos.

After installing Exchange, your My Templates Folder Office 365 was created for the one you backed up. Then, when the start-up screen appears, click on 'Sign In' and go through activation.
